For decades, Britain?s first lady of interior design, Kelly Hoppen, has set the standard for elegance and taste in interiors with her minimalist yet opulent style. Here she turns her hand to Britain?s less than attractive interiors, guiding homeowners through their design projects in her own unique way.

EPISODE 1 ? Teresa and Vince Dimartino

In episode two, Kelly takes on the Applebaum family?s kitchen catastrophe in Chigwell, Essex. Their kitchen is awash with broken floor tiles, an open leaking ceiling and a rather minimalist style of lighting. Mum Hannah has cooked in this building site of a kitchen for over 3 years as husband Jon doesn?t have quite the same sense of urgency and is tight with the pennies. Hannah?s dream however is supported by her three twenty something daughters who all still live at home. Kelly comes to Hannah?s rescue but as the kitchen renovation gets underway, the family begin to bicker and Kelly is left to save not just the kitchen but also the families? relationships.

Millionaire same sex parents Tony and Barrie from Chelmsfordhave their own dramatic take on what is good taste. Their only daughter Saffron, is embarrassed about her childish bedroom. She wants a grown up space where she and her girlfriends can chill ? and get away from her four brothers and two dads. But Kelly faces a challenge when it comes to toning down Barrie and Tony?s taste for bright colours and ornaments ? and keeping Barrie from interfering in the plans for Saffron?s room.

EPISODE 5 ? Kirat Nandra

Kelly?s Mission: to transform an orange drenchedkitchen into a sophisticated kitchen living space
Kirat Nandra is a single independent woman who hassoaked her minuteLondon flat in wild orange colours like ?bongo-jazz? and ?African adventure? because she simply liked their name. Kirat?s now questioning her taste but wouldn?t dream of selling her beloved flat and so has decided she needs Kelly?s help to convert her living space into a glamorous entertaining kitchen living area. With limited budget, a severe lack of space and an even more severe use of colour Kelly will have her work cut out delivering the spectacular space Kirat is dreaming of.
