O'Chiese First Nation School is looking for a qualified Language Arts and Social Studies teacher to start as soon as possible for the remaining of the school year. This teacher will teach Language Arts and Social Studies to grades 5, 6, 7 and 8, with some elective classes.
The K-12 school houses 175 students, with 13 teaching staff and 10 support staff.
Applicants must be certified by Alberta Education.
Specific Credentials will include required experience working with First Nations Students. Any remedial programming and technology experience will be an asset.
O'Chiese First Nation is located 40 minutes north of Rocky Mountain House. Beautiful, scenic community with close, local provincial parks. 2.5 hour drive to Banff, Calgary, and Edmonton.
